Lucy and Mt. Entoto, Saturday Aug. 9

We went to National Museum of Ethiopia to pay our respect to the real Lucy.

Here she is, tiny and fragmented. 

 

The enormous "Throne of Emperor Halie Seliassie", return to Ethiopia from Italy in 1972.  I wonder how he seated on it.

"Oldest" Homosapien, Idaltu, dated 195000 year old.  The seniority is challenged by Australia man discovered this year.
